It appears there is a bot or nefarious account posting in the men’s basketball thread. Just curious if a process exists to screen potentially harmful accounts/posts.

It appears there is a bot or nefarious account posting in the men’s basketball thread. Just curious if a process exists to screen potentially harmful accounts/posts. To prevent spam, new accounts on the board must now be approved before they can start posting. The new approval process requires registrants to send a Bucknell-specific message along with their request. Pretty certain the spam accounts have been deleted, so hopefully no more Chinese-language promotions of who-knows-what. |

Hi
The new board seems to be working well, but there's one small gripe I have. The blue on orange alternate posts are difficult to read, especially on smartphones used by old guys. Is it possible to change this?

Is it possible to change this? Sorry to hear that! Setting up the board was labor-intensive, given the admin interface is complicated. I'm not sure if I can get rid of the alternating orange backgrounds without losing the orange-and-blue theme. I'll see if I get a chance to look back under the hood. In the mean time, if you're not doing it already, boosting the brightness of your phone screen may help. Pardon the late reply...noticed your post late. |

Thanks for trying.....I am technologically impaired and can't modify my view and the brightness doesn't help me. I can fix the view on my PC though so I can live anyway
