Season opener, Wednesday at Sojka. According to Pomeroy, the Bison are a six point favorite. MSM finished with a 9-11 record in the MAAC last season, but like many teams, their roster has changed significantly. Specifically, they had four players transfer out, including their three leading scorers. They also added four transfers, two from D2 programs and two from Juco’s, but it looks like they lost more than they gained. Perhaps Doctor62 can add some more info.
One item of note is that MSM returns a 6–9 three-year starter in the middle. IIRC, he was not particularly effective vs Noah in last year‘s exhibition game. Will be interesting to follow that match-up tonight.

Last year's head coach left to join the staff at Syracuse, so a new coaching staff in addition to the transfers you mention. The new coach brings a different style, wanting to extend the defense and play with more tempo. Given 3 of the top 4 returners are bigs, it's going to take some time for them to figure things out as the 49 turnovers in the first 2 games will attest. I love Noah and am interested to see how the Mount's bigs will deal with him. Dallas Hobbs is a sophomore guard who might be MSM's most talented player. He will need to play well for MSM to be competitive. I assume he'll be a focal point of the Bucknell pressure. And, yes MSM lost its top 3 scorers from last season, including a senior who was 1st team All-MAAC and a freshman who was the MAAC Rookie-of-the-Year ... both are now at Georgia making a combined $600,000. Regardless of its record this year, Bucknell's biggest win came last spring when it was able to keep its roster intact.

Does it show all D1 schools?

Looks like no Motta tonight. Yes, back injury. Probably not serious.

So it’s not a madhouse. The second half was awful. Edmonds was sloppy.

I hope we can all agree this team has problems beginning with a lack of athletic talent. I don’t mean this is a pejorative but it’s not an athletic roster even in the Patriot League.
Giving up a 13 point lead at home is unacceptable but it’s also not real home gome given the lack of attendance

Hopefully we get some height and athleticism with the other 2 scholarships.

I am away for work but wow, what a disappointing loss. I was expecting a 10 point win. I guess this team will be good and bad much of the year. This was a bad loss.

When there was a 10-15 point lead in the 2nd half, for some reason, we were jacking up jumpers without running any time off the clock. Time management is something that I have always thought coaches should control. Unfortunately, it did not seem to happen.
OK, it was a bad home loss. Learn from it and move on.
GO BISON!

How did the new ticket system work out for everyone? Kinda a pain that you can't buy Child and Adult tickets in the same transaction online. I miss the old days of paper tickets...
